I’m Carmen, a Nashville- and New York- based Sommelier and Wine Communicator who believes wine is about more than just what’s in the glass—it’s about where it comes from, who made it, and how we experience it together.
Wine has the power to transport you to a place, spark conversation, and create connections. It doesn’t have to be complicated, but it should always be interesting!
I build thoughtful wine experiences, guided tastings, curated lists, and more — all designed to meet you where you are.
Whether you’re just starting to explore wine or you’ve been collecting bottles for years, I focus on wines (and non-alcoholic alternatives) that are sustainably made, full of personality, and worth talking about.

Wine is an agricultural product and good wine tells you where it’s from. I champion wines made with intention, from small producers who care about the land and what’s in your glass.

Every bottle holds history, place, and the choices of the people who made it. We’ll drink accordingly and dive deep into their stories!

We’ll learn to identify what you like (and what you don’t) to build confidence purchasing and ordering wine in the future.
